We parked next to an old sheep coral, which the boys thought was awesome. They spent hours climbing and playing-to them it was like a big maze. There was even a dead rotting sheep left behind...ewe. There was a lot of snow so we had a few small snowfights, but overall it wasn't terribly cold and we enjoyed ourselves. We would be going back out this coming weekend but we have a crazy busy weekend ahead.
John and the boys piled on to take a (slow) ride through the coral.
They went through the loading chute and they just couldn't fit all the way through.
Our spot high on the mountain.
The stream was frozen over so we spent a lot of time breaking the top layer of ice...sounded like breaking glass.
Carson hiked up his pants to walk through the water.
Landon just walked right through-hence, the wet clothes.
Nothing like a cold IBC in a bottle. Why is it so much fun to drink out of a bottle?
The boys clean and ready for bed. They were freezing so I let them huddle around the heater for awhile.
It doesn't get any better than drinking hot chocolate on a cold morning.
John spent so much time keeping a fire burning.
Landon hauled this log in to make a "No whistling tree house" with Katie. FYI: Landon learned to whistle a few weeks ago so he is constantly walking around whistling.
The many face of Landon.
Katie was teaching Carson how to ski...too bad I'm too cheap for us all to take up skiing.
Sunday on the way home we stopped at Dick's for burger's and shakes. SOOO yummy!
