PT testing

Did I mention baby J will be testing out of physical therapy next week? Well, he will. Just after Christmas I told him to stand up...and without any balance issues he stood up in the middle of the floor and walked to me. Since then he's improved in leaps and bounds. Even his language has taken off. Suddenly he's mimicking and communicating, we love it! Often when gross motor is delayed, speech is delayed as well, but he's doing great. Even Julie, his PT, couldn't believe how far he's come with verbal skills in such a short time.
I'll be a little sad not to have his PT come anymore since she just adores him-and who doesn't love to have someone around who loves their kid? She also gets excited over the small milestones when it seems most everyone else is thinking "he should have been doing that months ago..."
Jameson is obsessed with balls. He knows the difference between soccer, basket, and footballs. He says their names, but unless he's holding that particular ball it can be hard to know which one he's saying. He falls asleep holding a ball and wakes up to immediately find it again. He loves to throw the ball back and forth and has a crazy good arm. It looks as though John may finally have a kid that loves sports, but only time will tell. He even likes to sit with John off and on to watch football. This kid has so many balls that sometimes we even find them hiding in our shoes. We are all enjoying this little guy so much. Carson and Landon have to hug him before they leave and Jameson loves to stand at the door waving and yelling b-bye. How is he honestly 19 months already?
