Annual Uintas Trip

We love, Love, LOVE fall camping. Once the marathon is out of the way our thoughts are consumed with camping. Since they boys had a 4 day weekend, John took off work and we decided to make a real vacation out of it. My parents came along for the all five days and it was so great to have them there. This was their first trip out with their brand-spankin' new trailer, so they were camping in style. We mostly hung out, watched the boys play, explore the girls camp, drove into town for lunch, played at the river, ate way too much delicious food and just had a nice time. Katie and Kurt came up for a night, but we packed it up early on Saturday when the rain was moving in since we were in a spot that would be pretty treacherous to get out of if the roads were muddy. On the way down we were all disappointed at cutting our trip short so we ended up pulling into a low campground to spend our last night. So glad we did since it would be such a bummer to end our trip on a low note.
Jameson LOVED his little chair. I was pretty stressed since UPS man was late delivering it on the day we set out...and there was no way I was leaving without this little chair.

Not long after this photo was taken, Landon fell in the river. Yep, wouldn't expect any less from him.
