State Fair

Every year we go to the fair on opening day. We do this for two reason 1) opening day is cheaper 2) the rodeo-we like watching the sky divers with their flags. We met my family there and until everyone else showed up my boys were so well-behaved. What is it about adding extra children that makes them go bonkers? As soon as Coen showed up they were all over the place and would not listen to a word we said. So frustrating. I love my boys but wow, they were driving us nuts! We went through the little farm, went down the giant slide-we have to do the giant slide every year! We ate hot dogs, watched the first half of the rodeo, bought over-price, yet delicious Velo Chicken, various desserts including a fried Twinkie, John bought me a chair massage (lovely!) and we bought a toy I've been searching for, for Landon's birthday. All in all, it was a good time as always. To me the fair marks the beginning of fall-my favorite season.

He dropped the "too cool" attitude for awhile and had so much fun.

The boys.

Picking apples.

Landon apparently looking at the ground. I don't know, I just put it in.

Driving the tractors.

C.

Look at his cute round basketball head. Love round headed kids.

Now THIS looks like Landon. He's not making a goofy face, not trying too hard to give me a cute smile. This is my boy.

Cousins.

Landon beat everyone down the slide. He was FLYING!

Carson. He's done the slide every year since he was a baby and he looks forward to it.

Carson with his hand over his heart. Adorable.
