Another Climbing Post

Carson is tearing it up! He cleared the easier wall in less then 100 seconds so he moved onto the level 3 wall. It was definitely a stretch for him and he struggled to make it up, but wow, he has natural climbing ability. His instructors told me they couldn't believe he made it up since most kids quit when they realize how difficult it is. He was very determined. I was so proud. We've even had several adults approach to ask about his previous experience. He also did great on his bouldering and has made so much improvement since his first class. We will definitely be signing him up again since I've realized he has tons of room for improvement before he outgrows the rec center.
Oh and those climbing shoes we bought him...they made a world of difference in his ability to grip the rock outcroppings.
Landon on the other hand; hangs out, walks around, climbs on the railing, whatever keeps him entertained. This particular day he had his head down playing the itouch for the majority of the class. I wish he was old enough to join as well. Oh well, he wants to do soccer, which starts in April so he'll have his turn.
